Just watched this film on Saturday. It's a Japanese film with a host of famous names voicing a stop motion animation about a boy searching for his dog. Usually the style of Japanese or Asian films bores me and I wasn't interested at first but OH insisted! Thing is - Maisy was absolutely enthralled! She spent a whole 20 minutes just staring at the screen at the big dog faces as they were talking (in human voices). After a bit she looked a bit scared, ears down, whites of the eyes showing, she then took herself away and went to sleep.
Surely to a dog, a picture of a puppet dogs face talking in a human voice can't be interesting. And how could she possibly find anything scary about it??
Anyway, it was a good film, quite funny and sweet despite the gloomy subject, check out the trailer on you tube.
