What next!

I don't frequent Wetherspoons, but really!! They are at the lower end of the market selling cheap booze to youngsters, so what are they so precious about?

Thin end of the wedge maybe! xx

Doggism - is it a thing?
Dogs banned in pubs: a backwards step..
From September 10th, dogs will be banned in 1000 Wetherspoons pubs and their beer gardens.
Apparently dogs are 'unpredictable and cause too much mess', (tell us something we don't know, we hear you cry!). In this nation of dog lovers, this seems a strangely retrogressive step to us. Rather than punish the majority because of the behaviour of the few, why not welcome dogs, but make the rules clear?
Dog friendly hotels, cinemas and cottage rental companies are all on the increase, so we're disappointed to see this new era of Doggism emerge.
The Ruff and Tumble philosophy is simple: let dogs be dogs but control the mess and the dog!
Going on a walk through muddy fields to a favourite pub, with the dog by your side, bounding with joy, is one of life's pleasures. Slipping a Drying Coat on your muddy, wet dog before you go inside is lovely and drying for them. We do it because we also feel it's considerate to the landlord and find it a bit less embarrasing! As we always say, Ruff and Tumble makes life with wet dogs easier: for your dog, for you, the landlord, the houseproud, the car proud, the anti-dog brigade....and just about everyone!
