Who wanted Walnuts?

I can't remember who it was that wanted to make a Coffee and Walnut Cake but couldn't get Walnuts.
Was it you@Cath? I have just made a honey and Walnut loaf and have 4 ounces of roughly chopped walnuts left. If you want them just pm me your address and I'll post them to you.xxx

I did, but I do have walnuts. The cake was lovely Thanks. I don't want your walnuts, but please could you tell me the recipe for your honey and walnut loaf.

Don't know why I said Honey and Walnut, it was Banana and Walnut! Possibly because I was also trying to catch up with the News at the same time and then someone sent me a text so I was trying to do three things at once on my phone. I can multitask, but not digitally, it appears! The Banana and Walnut loaf is Delia Smith's All in One Banana and Walnut loaf. First time I've made it, but very easy and very nice. I had bananas that needed using up and all the other ingredients were available without needing to go shopping.

The Walnuts are being posted to @SteffiS tomorrow. An appropriate exchange for the Sprout seeds she kindly sent me. This all feels very neighbourly and nice!

I’m making my coffee walnut cake to think of all my family that have May birthdays that I won’t be able to be with: my daughter in Scotland whose birthday is next week and for the first time in ages I won’t be making a cake for her, my sister in Kent, and my Mum who would have been 100 this month (but only made it to 98) as coffee walnut was her favourite cake.

I'm glad they're being put to such good use. The wrapping paper is left over from the paper bought last May to wrap the gifts for MLF people who had recently had babies. It was paid for by everyone here, so I save it for wrapping things for MLF people.
