Wispa’s op...

Wispa had to have an anaesthetic this morning to have dental scaling. While she was under the anaesthetic, the vet also removed a small lump which has appeared on her shoulder, so she’s now sporting my grandson’s old pyjama top!

I took her in a little early this morning so that the nurses and vet could prepare her while the hospital was still quiet - the staff were those that Wispa knows and trusts through her regular desensitisation sessions. She had two small teeth extracted, but luckily not the larger one which the vet thought might be problematic. The lump has been sent off for analysis, so fingers crossed it will all be fine.

She’s still quite sleepy, but hasn’t lost her appetite!

Bless her, how is she today
She's very waggy-tailed today, though still not impressed with her pyjamas! The wound looks good and she tucked into her mushy breakfast this morning. I took her down the garden on her lead so that she couldn't rush around with Tuppy, but then let her off as she was reluctant to 'do' anything with me trailing around with her. She plodded around her usual sniffs, keeping an eye on me from a distance, and then managed to find a bit of Tuppy poo that I'd missed, so she grabbed it, ran off up a slope where I was unlikely to follow and gulped it down with a somewhat triumphant expression on her face! :puke:
