Charlie in Badger Fight ;(;(

Life has been beyond hectic so apologies for not updating Charlie's progress.

Firstly, thank you to @kateincornwall for emailing me with your concerns and to those of you that have asked how Charlie is, it's lovely to know some of you have been thinking about him after his very traumatic ordeal. Grace is fine thank you. Hattie was a little off for a few days, wouldn't eat very much and just watching over Charlie but thankfully she is fine too.

Charlie was discharged from the vet but had to remain in his cone for a further week as she didn't want his ear to get ripped again. I continued to perform my nurse duties keeping his wounds clean, all worked well. He still has a rip in his ear which might heal, not sure. His face is still minus some fur and his nose is just healing nicely now. He is having a little off lead time now which he needed. He seems fine in himself, no anxieties and I have walked him three times along the track that the attack took place, I am happy to report he was fine.

Charlie was extremely lucky his eyes weren't touched and to have come away with his life.
Just please keep out of trouble Charlie as my nerves can't cope any more. I just want a peacful life  xx

Very glad to hear your update and that Charlie has come through like a champ. Don't blame you at all for wanting a 'peaceful life' - and no more badger encounters!

Are you now moved permanently to Scotland? I lost track of when the final big move was meant to be. :)

Nope! David returned yesterday after transporting more of our things. We are going in October as soon as a couple of things are sorted here. There's always something getting in the way! We are now in a situation of "where is the veggie steamer"? "Oh it went to Scotland" Nightmare! xx

So good to hear that Charlie is well and truly on the mend.
Good luck with moving, it will all be over soon and you can plant your roots again and leave those nasty English badgers behind.

So very glad Charlie is on the mend.

I can't imagine trying to function with half of my belongings in another country o_O
When we first moved to Aus, our container was delayed at the docks. We had bought some new furniture (a tv, four directors chairs and an outdoor table) so we setup the table inside and moved our chairs between the table and the lounge room in front of the tv 😬
