Almost tempted to get a puppy so that I can start off training properly! Why didn’t I know about these things 7.5 years ago?! Sadly my first two books were by Caesar Milan and our puppy school was useless.whistle fed from five weeks old so it’s really ingrained
Don't fret, so many of us have been there.I remember eyeing up those 'stop barking' sprays in the petshop when Monty wouldn't stop crying, barking and howling as a pup. So nearly bought one. We've all learnt a lot along the way.Almost tempted to get a puppy so that I can start off training properly! Why didn’t I know about these things 7.5 years ago?! But thinking about it logically, if you have a puppy you are only increasing your canine household volume by 25%. If I had a puppy I would be increasing mine by 100%. So if you have a puppy it would quite clearly be 4 times easier for you and I could live vicariously via your pup instead*whispers*
I want a puppppeeeeee!!!!!
*slaps self in face*

I had no idea this was guide dog training level stuff - I started this with Quinn as a puppy and she drops anything and runs over for her treat when I load/unload the dishwasher! I'll have to brag to OHBut there is no end to it as the dishwasher becomes forever associated with treats.
(even though I only did it because dog licking dishwasher personally grosses me out, I don't know why).

I can’t wait to take him to a beach!Echo you are just soooo scrummy!
Is it just me but every-time I look at this thread I get "Echo Beach " by Martha and the Muffins... going round and round and round in my head...![]()
