Ariel's been a complete star....

Our home has been under big renovations for about 6-7 weeks. Laminate flooring removed throughout the upstairs, 2 new gas fireplaces installed, a fireplace wall built in the living room, drilling through concrete blocks etc to install the downstairs fireplace, hammers, saws, drills, etc etc. Ariel's bed has been moved so many times, her favourite flooring areas to sun in have been changed during construction, and she takes everything in complete stride. No freaking out about the noise or confusion, as long as she has her favourite people around her she's content.

She's in the kennels this week though as we have had the fireplace tile guy in for 2 days, and the new flooring is being laid today and tomorrow. She'll be much happier at the kennels for this part, but I bet the workers are missing being licked and loved by the little muffin.

I hope you’re as chilled? Home renovations can be a nightmare! I hate having workers in my house. I find they usually break at least one thing when they’re meant to be only fixing things!

Meanwhile, Snowie ADORES having workers in the house. Just like Ariel. Likes to kiss them on the face when they’re at floor level. And pokes his nose into everything!

She’s been absolutely incredible through all this upheaval. I’ve been good for the most part but really dislike clutter and things being out of order. Just about done thank goodness! I’m starting to lose my mind.
