Reuben made me smile as he does every day . I took him for a walk ,( Nelly refused sensible girl ) during which we had sunshine ( briefly ) rain and hail plus a howling wind . Did he care ?Not one jot , he charged around with his goofy smiley face of pure joy , love my boy x

I had such a good plumber in today to put in a new immersion heater. It was a real struggle for him to get the old one out and he warned me the tank might split. But with a lot of hammering and blow-torching he got it out, the tank remained in one piece, we have hot water - and he charged me £15 less than he had quoted!

I took Willow out alone this morning. We were playing in the snow, lots of different games she absolutely adores. One of them is where I grab a massive snowball (created by the snow plough) and hold it over her head. She jumps up and chomps at it, while it falls to pieces around her head.
A man walked past, saw her doing this, and commented "Ah, una cometoda!". Yep, an "eats everything". He obviously knows Labradors well

In the deep snow yesterday, Squidge was leaping around, then she stopped, turned, and stared at me determinedly. It took me a couple of moments before I realised she was stood on a big rock having done a "place" all by herself, completely hidden by 2ft of snow, and was waiting for her biscuit. Total nutter.

I had my graduation today - Kipper’s had the oddest day of a long walk, then car, then home, then a walk in the dark, then an evening in a new pub - we couldn’t be prouder, he’s been such a patient boy. Now having a bonus 3rd kong as a reward
