Boots.

I need some quick slip-on boots for popping outside in the winter. Not for walking (I have my lovely Sorels which are perfect for that) but going to the shops, pottering outside etc. Preferably slip on. I bought some expensive Timberlands last year, but I was very disappointed with them. They looked tired almost immediately, and the soles wore down far too quickly. Not value for money, booo.
I might just get some Uggs. Bloody ugly, but warm and they last forever.

I am just waiting for another pair of Meindl boots to come.
Ooh they’ve come today. They are very similar to my first pair but grip looks better on sole and they have an extra furry insole so you can change when the weather’s colder. They feel slightly heavier but maybe cos the other other pair are getting rather worn from constant use.

(If you look at the sole on the new one, you can see it has instantly attracted Red’s hair 🤣 )

I have some nice Uggs! They're knee length, black leather and fur lined all the way down to the toes. Very comfortable and not at all saggy. They're wonderful in cold weather.

Second season with my glorious Wellies has begun! Three hours of walking today, lots through wet sand and tidal pools - super comfy.

I'm totally decked out in Cornish duds: Seasalt dress, Morrison's Newquay leggings and St Columb wellies. The French are sure to be dazzled. 😂View attachment 18776
I love wellies, tights and a dress! great combo!

(When my Dublin boots arrived last year I wore them with a work dress all day :)

Yes!

Man, I wish my calves would have fit into the pair of Dublin boots I bought in Cornwall. Those things were great. Too bad my calves didn't agree.

I am all about what I think of as "toddler dressing". Leggings with short dresses or tunics. It's comfy, warm and dare I say it... quirky. I'm totally going for "quirky" at my age! 😂
