So sweet

It's amazing how they have changed in that way since puppies, you just don't notice each day until something makes you look back.

Like today, when I was hoovering. Like most puppies Cass used to chase a broom and the hoover. I've got a Henry so what with having eyes and being mobile she used to invite him to play by bowing etc. But now she reclines in her armchair, watching me.

Watching me, while I push said armchair across the room to hoover underneath, while she's still in it. And while I push it back again. Then she goes back to sleep :)

I don't whether to laugh or cry.

You’re right. Today I took Molly down to our nearest beach (2 minutes drive but pebbles) in the late afternoon. I’ve tended to avoid weekends as it gets very busy with lots of picnics and barbecues, but today she was brilliant, just played in the water with me and walked by my side back up the beach at the end with no attempt to steal food. I remembered her first summer and how she grabbed a child’s bucket and ran off with it, and how she very nearly got away with someone’s barbecued chicken! Life is so nice and easy now!
