Happy Human and whippy,

Cooper doesn't cope well with visitors coming to the house mainly because we don't have many because they come see us at the shop we have, this weekend we had a last minute viewing request for our property which sent everything into a pickle as we had plans, my OH was away and my Mum was here instead, not normal! We just got on with it but the main difference was I'd figured meeting people downstairs was Coopers issue, I showed the people around downstairs then came up upstairs with them and popped a stairgate up just incase before opening the living room door, Cooper loved them then! (Loads of work up here on happy calmness pays off! Downstairs = communal areas and much more conflicting) They fortunately love dog's and like our place because they have 5 dog's too so fell in love with ours and how our house and business is setup to make the most of both, Cooper then despite meeting 3 new people decided to wander off and show them around! Which they loved and made me smile so so much, they adored him and he showed why it's so lovely to work from home when you have dog's!

Good boy Cooper!
Downside of working from home when you have dogs: trying to carry on a serious conference call while Squidge delivers you every last thing she can reach to get you to play with her. If I worked in an office, my desk would have far fewer shoes on it...
😂 I think I'm glad my dog's aren't allowed in our shop as I wouldn't get anything done!

Definitely scary.
Retirement?
And do you have somewhere else to go?
Erm well ish, not retirement for my partner and I, we own the house and shop with my partners parents, they wanted to retire and move back to where we're from, we've been away a while now and would all like to move back home, so decided rather than but out their half to put everything on the market and all move home but buy separate houses close to each other, my partners Dad has been struggling with his health a little over the last few years and then a few months ago my partners mum had a stroke, so it's made it all the more immediate and changed everything as we're now not going to separate and we're all going to stay together so my partner and I can help his parents, so in answer to the next question no we don't have anywhere to go because we can't run the business, do daily life and travel up and down to view properties (too much for my partners parents to keep traveling) and the type of property we'll be looking for doesn't come up everyday (we need separate spaces for each couple otherwise it's not the easiest of daily lives) so once we sell we're going to rent where we're from to give us chance to find the right house for us all, my life is interesting some days!
