Dreaded vet visit

Ugh time for the yearly exam. Just dropped him off at the vet...waiting outside for all the needles to be done. Poor guy, he’s so happy and bright-eyed outside. Vet comes out to put muzzle on, he immediately gets unhappy. Vet has to drag him into exam room (ok, not exactly but he definitely doesn’t want to go). Now I’m outside in the van. I hate that he doesn’t like this but...sigh. Necessary evil.

My late Labrador Tess was the same , Lisa , makes us feel so damned guilty even though its for their own good xx

All done and happy at home now. Vet says he’s tip-top shape, even down a couple kilos (shh don’t tell him) which is fine as he had gained a few last visit. Just gotta get the dewormer in him and all over for another year. Vet said he grumbled at him but didn’t lunge at him so good I guess.

I used to be a vet nurse and once the dog is away from the owner, they usually relax.
