Paying into recall

I have just had the loveliest walk with munchkin - he was so engaged! We did lots of little training bursts - had a game of tag (note to self... need to train out the nipping of my bum ) and then I took him to the bit of the woods where there are numerous squirrels! Cue a manic run around finding scents!
We then had a few recall practises where when he got back I threw a tennis ball for him and then sent him to find it.... his little face when he saw his ‘banned’ tennis ball! Was so cute!!!!

I take it all back. Little sod has chewed my mobile phone! I was 15 minutes! I went upstairs to change out of my dog walking clothes... came downstairs and he’s sitting there happily munching on my iPhone 8!! thankfully it was in a case so the case is wrecked but the phone seems fine!

Drawers (as in sideboard...not knickers...) were designed for people with labradors. Everything goes into them! Glasses, phones, remotes...even now and Benson is 5 next month!

Toffee was beautifully quiet yesterday when I came in from taking Ripple on one of his toilet trips, he was totally engrossed in shredding an entire kitchen roll .

Merlin was a real shredder for months and months... The worst thing he ever did was to chew up a very valuable first edition (all OH's fault for leaving it on the coffee table). Slowly but surely we noticed he had stopped. But it is a terrible nuisance while it is happening... You just have to put EVERYTHING away.

150 year old leather book mark made from leather from a famous shipwreck which had been under the sea for a long time. Oh didn't listen left it out Rory chewed it in half. I managed to get a replacement. It was very expensive.

Maxx actively runs from surface to surface looking for something to steal and chew. Absolutely everything has to be put out of reach; but inevitably we forget and this weekend alone he shredded a roll of Kitchen paper towels (just like Toffee), the kitchen sponge a few times, a tv remote that we thankfully saved before it was destroyed, a t-shirt and some shoes

The funny thing is he was outside and started barking. I went out and a couple of items had fallen from their hangers on the washing line onto the deck. I guess he was alerting me so I could hang them back up which is fantastic of him....but we he didn't scarper with them as he does with anything like that normally I'll never know.

absolutely everything has gone in his mouth this weekend.

There was a lovely solid poo in the garden that I wasn’t sure if it was Mas’s or Leo’s... then I saw 4 beads in it.. like necklace play and I remembered that we had used them in class on Friday.. so that’s Mas’s then

He’s actually worse now than he was as a puppy.. he is chewing EVERYTHING. He’s like a lawnmower
