She's a proper little homebody and really needs her own place , but she's made a good compromise.

She's had a tricky time with one thing and another, but having more time with Rosie will make her happy I know.

she's only 18 miles away and Reeva will be coming here on Mondays, so it is ideal for me.

I met a friend for a walk today with her dog. Her boy can be reactive, as can Harley so we set a plan on how to introduce them……my friend got out of her car and said hi to Harley, I moved Harley back from the car to let her dog get out…..Harley jumped up to my friends boot, said hi, jumped down then dropped her ball for him. This is her way of saying ‘you’re ok’. We had an amazing hour and a half walk, both pottering along near each other, sharing treats and were both very relaxed. I was so happy

Well done. I usually suggest we walk them in parallel on the lead, a few feet away, gradually get closer and then let them off, so far it has been successful.

Cassie has always enjoyed a game of keepaway with my slippers, as many dogs do. Sometime ago I decided to use it as a training opportunity to get her to deliver to my hand. I can't quite remember how it started but I think I used handtouch. She is now very hot on finding my slipper as soon as we come in from a walk and does indeed thrust it into my hand and will then "go back"for the other one.
Thing is, she now takes it to a whole other level often swiping them out from under my foot as I'm poised on one leg to put it on and representing first one and then the other or trying to tug them out of my hand so she can go on doing it!

I've taken to putting them up on a shelf where I thought she wouldn't reach them - but no, I turned round this morning to see her holding one beautifully, with bright eyes and a wagging tail!
She really does make me smile!!

Me and Rory had a Mammy and Rory day today before I start my new job tomorrow.

I’ve just been putting him to bed and he’s been telling me all about his day and what he saw and where we went with a big smile on his face.

It’s made me so happy that he enjoyed our day. I love our days together just the two of us

We went to Preston Park and Butterfly world.

And because he was such a good boy we stopped off on the way home to get some sticker books which he was very pleased with

I stayed at Rushpool Hall at Saltburn during site work at ICI Wilton. Managed some nice walks on my day off. Nice hotel but underestimated noisy peacocks and wedding guests!
I then moved to Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington for another site job. Not so far away from you @Jen.
