Beautiful Poppy , so pleased to read your update xxxx
She's doing really well, thank you @Cath. She is happy and jolly, and I couldn't be more pleased. I've read that some dogs suffer negative side effects on Pexion or even increased seizures, but after the first couple of days she seemed to adapt well to the medication. Three weeks and counting! Fingers crossed this continues. How is Poppy @MellowYellow
It really is, I'm delighted. The only thing is that the tablets taste disgusting (I licked one to find out why she hates them so much, she normally eats everything...), so the tablets have to be disguised in delicious treats that she will swallow quickly, like pate, or sardines. But that's a small issue. And now I'm a little bit worried because I am going away next week, and OH has to administer the tablets... Not only might he forget (that's ok, he'll set a timer/reminder on his phone), but I hope he will be as vigilant as me and check that she really has swallowed the tablet and not spat it out. That's such good news @MellowYellow
PS Tell me this is normal behaviour...(I licked one to find out why she hates them so much...)
