Oh Maxx, I missed your post about your poor bear. Did you bravely rescue him from the drying line even if you did not rescue him from the sink? I hope by now you have him smelling good again. Why do they do this to us? The weekend is coming up and I fear it will be Sammy Sloth's turn to face the bathtub. And he is just getting nice and crunchy. Que lastima!

Vamos, Kipper, quick! You must kidnap your amigo Weddell and hide him where your ML will not find him. We must save Weddell! Vale, I have never succeeded in doing this with Monkey because I think ML watches Monkey even more carefully than I do, but someday I may be triumphant. Que tengas suerte in your life and death mission, amigo!

Big day, amigos! We went on a walk and pub lunch with our special walking friends near St. Agnes here in Cornbeefwall. I was SO good. ML says it is because I was pre-worn out by Reuben yesterday, but I think it was because the walk was difficult in some spots and I really had to work hard to help ML not slide off the hill. And I love to work! Vale, not as much as I like to EAT, but still it makes my little Labrador heart very happy to do my job so well .

We finally reached the sea and got to have a rest. One of the ladies even gave me part of her banana.


The best part of the walk along the Coastal Path: deleecious grass, the beeuuuutiful view and NO mud. ML and I do not like mud, but English people seem to love it.






An intriguing little house on the creek. Puede ser, could be that some Cornish piskies live there!


Amigos, I could not keep my poor eyes on the food in the pub. I have let my fellow Labradors down.


And now ML cannot even put away her backpack because I am using it as a pillow and am too tired to move. Que dia, what a day!

They are so sneaky, amigo Maxx! I wish you could be here too as we could form a Labrador Union and go on strike. No more cuddles until the kidnapping of our stuffy friends is stopped!

I am glad that you are working on Billy and confident you will succeed but really - how can we let this go on? I guarded Sammy Sloth all weekend to make sure he was not the next victim, but instead she was pulling a fast one and had grabbed my dear sweet Lambie Llama. He did not stand a chance. I am very worried that he will never again have his ‘dirt and saliva from three countries’ smell again. Que lastima, mi pobrecito. Ojala, at least he still has his brave smile:

Amigos, we had such a good day with Auntie Kate and Tio Paul, and of course my best amigo Reuben and little hermancita Nelly. I even got some deleeecious Sunday roast!

We also had a walk in the Trees-Not-Forest forest where I found so much deleeeecious poo to eat that ML says I am not allowed to sleep with her for at least a week. Do not worry, amigos, her feet get cold and she will capitulate by tonight, such is the power of my cuddly and warm Spanish gentlemanly charms.

ML was meant to be today’s photographer but she did not manage very well: you get a choice of handsome Labrador backsides and sweet Nelly’s face, or you get Nelly backside and our faces. I guess you really cannot lose, because I am guapo from ANY side!
