Stinky Ears

Coco's got smelly ears, R>L. They are not bothering him. I've tried a few days with StinkStuff ear drops, but they are not helping. I telephoned the Vet this morning and the earliest appointment we could get is next Tuesday. The lovely receptionist was very apologetic and said if it was an emergency she could get us in same day. I really don't think it is. She suggested we try OTC ear cleaning drops/solution in the mean time, so I'll pop to Pets at Home tomorrow. She stressed, several times, if he changes or I am not happy then call at 8am for an emergency appointment and they will see him. I'll keep a close eye/nose on him.

He's not keen on the drops, but will sit still for them. He can't get enough of the ear massage though. He goes all soppy.

So sorry. Based on my experience, I’d say please get on top of it asap. I feel my neglect has caused Snowie to lose his hearing. Best of luck xxx

Heavens, don't say the vets are getting as bad as the GP surgery! Trouble is, too many people!

It's really difficult to register with a vet here at the moment. Ours has just been closed for a couple of weeks due to staff shortage. It's not a good situation.

I do hope it gets better as it is yet another worry!
