Thanks loves , if love could pull her through , she would be well in no time . I just feel helpless and so very sad . A good friend has set up a just giving page for me , I dont like the thought of it but I do appreciate it so if anyone would like to donate, the link is on my FB page but please dont see this as begging , I feel bad enough as it is xx

Kate you should not have to pay, it is the owner of the other dog who is liable. You don't need the worry of paying on top of everything else and she should NOT get away with it.

Thank you, Kate . It does not come easy to me to ask and accept help but I am bowled over by the love and support , thank you is not enough . Nelly has eaten a very small meal of fish , every mouthful helps and will help to support her tummy with the 25 tablets she has to take each day . Her stoic attitude is amazing , she sleeps a lot but then no doubt this is due mainly to the medications , dearest little love xxLink to Nellys Page..

I know full well that she should not be allowed to get away with it, but what can I do ? Without a full name and details, the police can not do anything either , we are all stuffed and without a miracle of someone coming forward with details , she has got away with it . I am furious but my priority is Nelly, her recovery is paramount and one day , karma will play her hand, it usually does , I couldnt sleep at night if it were me xxKate, she should not be allowed to get away with it, what will she learn! Unfortunately, even if the police can track her down that won’t help Kate financially. She won’t be ordered to pay Kate. That would be a civil matter.Kate, she should not be allowed to get away with it, what will she learn! Dog may well do it again! If she had to pay she would make darn sure it wouldn't to it again. I am appalled that she cannot be made to pay. Surely her conscience (sp!) would make her pay, she did say she would have to get a loan, so she should get a loan. Why should innocent Kate have to pay the vet for the appalling damage her dog has done to dear Nelly.
