Weird lump

You're not neurotic. Your experience has told you not everything is "ok". It's normal to worry.
I'm sorry you have also had to go through the stress of a breast lump. That's a big deal. Glad all is well, but adds to your overall "bucket of worries".
Your response to this lump is appropriate and measured and im glad you can share on here.
There is a great deal of truth in that saying....a problem shared is a problem halved.
Thank you

Now you may get upset with me when I say this 🫣 but I had the lump for a year before finally getting it checked. But my furbabies… I find a lump and I book an appt at the vet immediately:cwl:

I think we are all the same for our fur kids and human kids vs ourselves!

FWIW you are doing the right thing. If a lump is being a bit unexpected it's best to get a definitive diagnosis. Hope it does turn out to be an annoying granuloma or similar.

Two nights ago I noticed Hugo’s lesion had a long black scab on it and then last night I noticed it had fallen off and things actually looked like they were improving. So this morning instead of having his little surgery, the vet agreed with me and said let’s leave it for now as it looks like it’s finally healing but if it gets worse again we will remove it.

The relief I had today was wonderful. We celebrated with a nice long walk along the water this evening where he got many many pets. At one point I couldn’t even see him as he was in the middle of a bunch of teenagers just lapping up all the love. Let’s hope it continues to improve 🤞
