Ella, my lumpy bump girl

Thankfully Ella is back to her happy self. Unfortunately she decided to let me know by doing zoomies at the park, ending it by leaping up to say hello to a man walking through the park 🤦🤦. They never do stop embarrassing us do they 🙄

The results are back. The three lumps on her body are just fatty lumps. Phew. The lump on her jaw came back as "inconclusive". The options are to leave it and monitor, sedate and another fine needle aspiration or GA and remove.

We think we'll get her booked in to have it removed as I don't think I can cope with the unknown and the thought of it possibly being cancerous and us just leaving it there. We will probably get her teeth cleaned at the same time.

I’m sorry it came back inconclusive, that is frustrating 😔 I would remove it also  I’ve been trying to stay quiet in fear of worrying you but I just have to share… My biggest regret was not removing Axel’s marble like lump when it first popped up. The fine needle biopsy had also come back inconclusive, and because it was moveable (until it wasn’t) the vet thought it was safe to leave. Biggest regret of my life. Definitely think it is wise to go ahead with removing it, then it’s gone and because it’s quite small the margins should be easy too. Then you’ll officially know exactly what it was when those results come back, and if it was cancerous at least it will be gone ❤

Thank you for sharing, your experience has moved me from 99% sure I'll get it removed to 100%.

I hope this hasn't brought up too many memories for you

Only just catching up. Sorry to hear you've had these worries with lovely Ella, our Labs do seem to be prone to lumps, don't they? I'm totally in agreement with your decision to have the 'inconclusive ' lump removed and would do the same myself. Once it's gone, that's one thing less to worry about. Hope it all goes well.
