Lambies for Red please

Thank you again everyone for your lovely supportive comments. She is now home and resting. She will need at least two back teeth extracted in two months time. I will find out more at her post op check next week. Apparently her teeth are quite worn down - my thoughts - too many frozen kongs or ball play (she is ball obsessed)? Who knows? For now I am just relieved to have her here by me
Glad she is home, though sorry she has to have more out further down the line. I have heard that tennis balls can wear teeth down.

So sorry you are worried about more extractions. I’ve also heard tennis balls wear down teeth—apparently the texture is like sandpaper on the teeth. My friend’s little Morkie has worn down her canines. Now she only uses rubber balls.

I’ve made a note of things I want to ask the vet next week. Just need a plan going forward to protect her existing teeth. I keep telling myself not to stress - my daughter has a 10 year old greyhound (he’s an ex racer and came to them aged 3) - a few years ago he had to have 11 teeth out and he manages eating just fine. He does have horrible bad breath though 😞
