I'm glad Nelly is on the mend, and hopefully Reuben will recover very quickly. I know it's more worrying with a little scrap like Nelly though.

This is very true , Karen . Nelly only weighs four and a half kilos on a good day so she really doesnt have much in reserve, bless her xxI'm glad Nelly is on the mend, and hopefully Reuben will recover very quickly. I know it's more worrying with a little scrap like Nelly though.

Looks like the sofa for me tonight , poor lad is desperate when he gets the call . A call to the vets in the morning I think , I can always have a nap during the day xx

Not much sleep had as my poor lad has it coming out of both ends. I will be ringing the Vet at 8/30 a.m. but will suggest they see him in the boot of the car as I would hate for this to be passed on xx

Thank you xx Thankfully Nelly seems to be well over the worst now but is not very interested in eating, just tiny amounts but is drinking lots . Poor Reubs , we have an appointment this morning and Sue is going to come out to the car to examine him . I have the back door open for him all the time , he is also drinking lots of fresh water which is good . I havent even attempted to feed him but will cook some rice and white fish shortly . Nelly seemed to respond quickly to the antibiotics so I hope that Reubs will do too . As well as disinfectant , I have a dettol antibacterial spray which has been used liberally all over the house , fingers crossed we get top side of this soon xx

Poor boy , he looks so pathetic and certainly was not his usual anxious self when Sue examined him . He has had an anti emetic jab , pardale for tummy ache and some paste to slow his intestines down as I had almost run out of it at home . Sue wants to see him tomorrow afternoon as his gums are a little pale , if no improvement then he will have to go onto a drip but Sue is very hopeful that if he can stop being sick , this wont be needed as he is drinking lots . It is awful to see him refusing food , so fingers crossed he starts to improve soon xx
