That's good that the post op check up went well and that he is feeling more comfortable.
It isn't a blow up collar, it's a ruff which is like a cushion in itself, I am perfectly satisfied that he can get as comfortable as possible in the circumstances in which he finds himself. In fact the ruff is an aid to comfort.I’m glad he’s on the mend. What a lovely boy.
Why does he have to wear both collars? I always think the blowup collar looks so uncomfortable for resting the head. Could you put a cushion under his head when he sleeps so that he doesn’t have to extend his neck over the blowup?
. Hope the wound improves quickly and the antibiotics help. Positive that he is in good spirits but frustrating for all of you
Yes, it is a set back, but as you say , I am happy to see him in good spirits, when I think of how poorly and flat he has been.oh dear! that's a bit of a set back. although good that he is in good spirits. Hope you don't find it too frustrating over the next few days.
It hasn't been so bad really I know they are very grateful for everything myself , my son and his OH have done , and you know, once a nurse always a nurse!Poor Oddy. I'm sure you'll be relieved to hand over the responsibility to his owners.

Insult to injury!Poor lad
Sorry don't know what you mean Helen?Insult to injury!
Sorry Helen only just seen thisI am , however, getting more than a little tired of having the back of my knees bashed by the cone.
It's just that old saying - when someone's having a bad time and then something else goes wrong -- "insult to injury?"Sorry don't know what you mean Helen?
