Puppy sitting

Absolutely this.
I don't think I would ever forgive myself if I took an unnecessary risk with a small puppy leading to loss of life. My parents could remember dogs dying of distemper and/or hardpad when they were young and told me that it's a nasty death and dogs suffered badly.
Anyway, the whole thing about socialisation and the best way to go about it is open to debate it seems to me.
I remember dogs dying from distemper, horrid.

Yes, this. The anti-vaccination group sees to be ever growing.
This is quite sad.
I must admit that I never used Tick and flea meds "to schedule " because I don't hold that a drug works for 90 days as a preventer but on day 91 it has stopped. Perhaps if I had a big problem with either I may have been different.

But I do understand the need for vaccinations and never shirked on them, but didn't worry if I was a bit late.

Anti-vaxers seem to be vocal and strident on the whole.....

I never use scheduled tick and flea treatment, not necessary unless living in a tick area. But would always vaccinate.
