The walks will probably help his gut movement.
Apple crumble would be nice, thanks.

He must be feeling better if he wants walks, and I like that they call it singing and have taken him out for several walks - it’s only going to be good for him to have a change of scene and a bit of movement (hopefully leading to more movement). Little fella sounds like he’s in good hands and is better in himself. Hopefully the morning will bring further improvements, and in the meantime keep caring for yourselves and saving your spoons xxxUpdate
Just spoke to the vets update team. Still no poo. No diarreah though.
So maybe it’s now forming?
Now on 30 minutes feeds but just a mouthful of plain chicken at a time. They have had to take him out for several walks as he’s ‘singing’ very loudly apparently.
Having heard Mas sing on a regular basis they are in for a long night if the boy is not wanting to be kennelled.
OH is cooking and has been for about 5 hours now - it’s the one area where we are totally incompatiable. He gets stressed and cooks and feeds people, I get stressed and can’t even look at food.
Anyone for Apple crumble? Cheesecake? Some weird butternut concoction?![]()
??Poor little man (Mas not OH!) I hope he recovers as quickly as possible. I wonder if it could be intussusception?
You know this anyway Leanne, but any of us who have a Lab have experienced them eating something vile at some point, at the lower end they might get the squits or a bit of puking, more seriously they end up at the vets having blood tests or scans (me, twice) and if you're really unlucky you get a situation like Mas, or like lovely Quinn @Ashley had before Christmas with that corncob..... you can be vigilant and train leave it, of course, but most of the time our dogs have a strong constitution and fight off bad stuff. You feel awful now, naturally, but when Mas is home, the horror of this will fade and you can let him do his Labby things again. The really scary bit is that if we don’t find out what has caused it we aren’t going to know how to prevent it happening again

Over to the night shift down under, keep it going again guys xwe have everything crossed for a quick and full recovery Leanne. Thinking of you down here![]()
