Tatze’s scent work.

We went, on Friday, to Wagga Wuffins canine college. It’s an indoor arena where they teach scent work. They were all spaniels except Tatze! One bloke had his spaniel and a baby puppy spaniel 13 weeks old. I cuddled him for ages. (the puppy, not the bloke!)

Tatze was a superstar. Really friendly with all the people and dogs - she loved the work - and she aced it!

We did searching the room and searching people. The objects were their own toys which we leave in a tin overnight with catnip. But they started Tatze with cheeeese - too easy!

I’ll try and get a video next time. It was a really relaxed and social atmosphere, we both absolutely loved it. I even had a couple of cups of coffee - what a great way to spend a morning with my special girl. Tatze rarely ‘smiles’ but she was on Friday and her tail never stopped wagging once.

Sounds so nice! Quinn is not what I would call a natural scenter...she looks to me for cues, so I’m finding it challenging now that we are progressing to searches 😬

This is great @Boogie , how lovely for Tatze to be having this time alongside her puppy care/guidance duties.

It's astonishing how their whole persona changes once that nose kicks in, and they really come alive. I love the mug.
