Potential training camp next year.

Some of you will have heard of Denise Fenzi and her training school, Fenzi Dog Sports Academy. They have a big camp every year, but they're trying to arrange lots of mini ones - or, rather, the members do the organising, get the instructors involved etc. There are several already booked for this year.

A few members in the UK are trying to arrange for instructors to come over to have one there, probably in the Somerset area. It's still very early days, but it would be opened up to likeminded people who aren't Fenzi alumni, too, so it might be interesting for some of you. It looks set to run in 2020, so once dates are arranged and we have a line-up of instructors and topics, I'll let you know, but it should be great fun.

Instructors who have shown interest so far are: Denise Fenzi, Sarah Stremming, Leslie Eide, Sara Brueske, Julie Flanery, and Kamal Fernandez. I am pushing to get Amy Cook, too, because I love her!

We could turn it into a little forum meet-up if anyone is interested, too :)

I can bring wine and gin...

The details are on the Facebook group - I've just signed up, and am very excited. I shall be bringing the chocolate terrorist over.

The two instructors - Sara Brueske and Kamal Fernandez - aren't people I've worked with, but I figure I need to support the camp in these early days to make it a bigger, more permanent fixture in the future.

It's a four day camp, and you can sign up for the whole thing or individual workshops (either handler or spectator).

The last day is my birthday, so much gin will be imbibed.

Who's joining me? ;)
