Canal party OMG

We've been invited....WITH PONGO....to a day on a canal boat.
This will either be lovely or......my mind boggles.

Oh, how exciting, we've hired a narrow boat for the day a few times and had loads of fun chugging up and down the canals. I love how the resident boaters get annoyed with the day trippers incompetently lurching the boat from side to side and forgetting which side to stay on. Then when it all goes wrong and you just stare and laugh as you watch your boat clunk into the bank (or worse, another boat) all in bizarre slow motion

I think it will be fine, you can just hop off with Pongo and walk him along the towpath whenever you like

Scarily, have just been informed there is a pub lunch involved too. @Emily_Babbelhund is the only living witness to a Pongo pub lunch so far.
