Hunter's Limping Again

Well not real answers but I have more pain meds to help give him some more relief. His temperature is down and we just have to give him time.....Hmm not sure..... but maybe the lammies helped him feel a little better this afternoon. He now has a cone of shame to keep him off his stitches. We go back again on Friday to remove the stitches and for a check up. He will get a mild sedation as I cannot see him lying perfectly still whilst they take the stitches out. He does seem slightly better now he had the extra pain relief but his stitches are still bleeding slightly. Fast asleep (with no cone and he is at my feet) so hopefully we all get a good night's sleep tonight.
No cuddles still:shock:

Ayayayayay Lorraine. Fingers crossed the extra pain relief allows him to relax enough that you both get a good night's sleep. He certainly has all the power of the lambies behind him. Well done you for looking after him so carefully.

Sorry it was not as satisfying as you hoped for!! Meanwhile you are doing an excellent job. I hope this nightmare will stop for you and hunter, and that the little improvement he is showing will continue!
Did the vet say that it could be a side effect of the stemceltherapy? I tried to look for side effects, but couldn’t find any....!

Just caught up on this - so sorry to hear about Hunter. Hope he’s starting to feel more himself soon. He’s lucky to have you!

Idiot got his cone off during the night. I can work from home today so I can keep an eye on him. He is slightly better this morning but still psycho when he moves or gets out his basket. My OH is really struggling to cope with his strange behavior and is now convinced he has brain damage! So it is basically me who is on Hunter watch.... I was hoping for a little waggy tail greeting this morning but no. He did let me cuddle him though! Feeling a little down today. He is now sleeping, so I better get on with my work!

Im guessing this might be a mix of meds, discomfort, disorientation and maybe lack of quality sleep - can make anything a bit crazy with that combination. Hopefully he’s stabilizing now so will soon be coming back down to earth x
Feeling a little down today
You poor thing, this must be taking a lot out of you - especially if you’re mainly flying solo :( if you’re working at home maybe you can fit in a nap or two? And keep eating good food, you need to nurture yourself. I hope it improves quickly  xx
