Thick asparagus and broccoli soup, followed by cheese and biscuits for me, Kong for Joy, cuddles for both. She's been left one her own a little longer than usual today, and we found she'd taken the cushion I've been resting my poorly arm on onto her bed. No chewing, just holding on to it.
Only the sort of fruit salad that has gin in it! Hope you sleep well and feel much better tomorrow.

Slept pretty well, am reducing my dose of Oromorph but making sure to keep on top of the pain. The plan for today is to take it very easy! There's a comfy chair I can sit on just inside the patio doors and it's warm enough to keep the doors open, so from there I can watch Joy in the garden. It's quiet, apart from birdsong, my lunch has been left for me to just put in the microwave when I' m ready and the lids on any jars of stuff I might want have thoughtfully been pre-loosened for me.I feel like I' m in a very posh exclusive convalescent home that takes dogs! Really counting my blessings that I have family like this.
