It's been a day of much sleeping and the occasional bizarre dream. One of these was that Swampy had posted 'My one-handed gynaecologist asked me what I thought would happen if he sneezed'!!! It was unclear what thread it was on! Feeling much better now though and might see if I can manage with just paracetamol and ibuprofen, then perhaps I could have my Friday evening glass or two of wine tomorrow which tastes much nicer than Oromorph and leads to far less....... how shall I put it? Strangeness!:cwl:

It does sound very Swampy to be fair

Mmmm...I'd put the weird dream down to the GA aftereffects more than the morphine. But at least it was just weird and not scary. And not even that weird in the context of something Swampy might write. :D

Personally I love the taste of morphine (how's that for weird?!) but if ibuprofen and wine does it for you tomorrow, go for it! Very glad you are sounding so well. :)

Glad you are back and recovering, take it easy for a bit. Morphine does cause hallucinations and it is easy to take too much orally so best keep off the gin for a bit!

Managed to walk Joy for 45 minutes this afternoon, accompanied by Jenny! (Still not allowed to go on my own!) Back to see the consultant next week, hoping that all is well and I can graduate on to a full plaster cast made of the lighter stuff. This one is cumbersome and weighs a ton. Might be able to do a bit more then. A wet day in Hucknall, so not many games in the garden but GGJ is my ever faithful companion and snoozes by my chair when I snooze, which is still quite a lot.
