Manky tick

Yuck - I’ve just found an ex-tick behind Kipper’s right elbow/shoulder gully; it’s pretty black and dessicated with lots of ‘bits’ all through the hair
I got most of it with the tick remover and cleaned it up with water, but the skin is quite red - I’ve slathered Savlon on (Kipper was not impressed) but will keep an eye to check it calms down. Poor fella, it’s pretty unreachable for him there and I hadn’t noticed it.

I reckon ~2mm, but it had fallen to bits. I’m guessing the tick treatment did for it but not before it had got a hold.

I’ve seen it once before under his balls , but there was very little tick left and it didn’t look particularly red, this is a bit more bothersome. I think it’s unusual.

Oh god, I so hate ticks especially when they are full. Poor Kipper, uurrgghh!
