It's beginning to sound like a sequel: SW Pack 2. I should warn you that Jazz is not a calm, sensible dog like Holly.

You might remember this walk with the SW pack in Wentwood. It was Holly’s second birthday party. Ruth made a chicken cake with bits of bacon crumbled on top. It didn't last very long!

Ruth and I are both in tears. We have so many happy memories of walks with the gentle giant. If there’s a heaven for dogs I hope that Pongo and Holly are enjoying a romp through some woods with, of course, a few ponds where they can swim together. That’s how I‘ll always remember them both.

Its about 25 minutes. There’s a park beside the Morrisons in Abergavenny so I take Jazz for a walk and play while Ruth does the shopping. Its a win-win!

The flooded shops and houses are slowly getting sorted. The piles of ruined shopfittings, furniture and other objects are getting cleared. Some shops have been stripped out and have dehumidifiers, others have barely started to recover. Car parks have been cleaned so people can get into town...
