Well we had a lovely morning at the show - everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Rajah thought the idea of getting treats in the ring was fab and he performed very well. We scored 182 which earned us an 'outstanding' rosette. (The awards go good, outstanding ,ace.) I was amused as the reason...

The Rally competitions that I've done to date have been run by the Kennel Club, but Talking Dogs Rally is a privately run organisation. @Selina27 It's actually a very deep river - about 20ft, (the Ouse which joins the sea at Newhaven, and which was canalised in the 1790s). This is about 4 miles inland but it is still tidal and this was an especially high tide with the water flowing over the banks. Molly loves the river when it's...

@Stacia Yes, Molly is having paracetemol and it seems to help.

Molly has had a ripping time unwrapping a soft toy (which is miraculously still entire). She's had some steak to eat and has been out for a couple of walks. I took a photo of her with her pressie but forgot to take any on our walks so I'm putting a photo from a couple of days ago.

The thoughtful response from your vet sounds very helpful. I do hope metacam is effective for Snowie as it was transformative for my last dog, who started taking it at 13 years of age and lived for another 18 months after that. (Molly unfortunately can't tolerate it.)
