I get The Chin, very firmly pressed on my knee, the harder the press the more urgent the request.

Thanks for asking. Bella is doing ok, she’s no longer red but still has a tendency to scratch a bit. I got a bit tired of making a mess with the porridge so I bought some oatmeal cream from P at H. It sort of helped but definitely not as good as the porridge so new batch soaking ready for tomorrow.

Just a word of caution about homemade dog biscuits and treats, don’t do what I did and make a full batch. They go mouldy after about 5 days. I have made loads of them and have learnt from my mistakes. That’s the reason I guess why shop bought are full of preservatives. I’m not saying don’t make...

3 days of porridge and I could definitely see the difference, I didn’t put any on yesterday and I can see the difference. She is back to scratching, her belly its all red. So more oats in soak as I speak. I can recommend this for itchy skin. Bonus, I made flapjack whilst the oats were out...

Well after spreading porridge, sorry Oat Gel all over Bella yesterday she did indeed have a better night. I thought she might start licking if just because she liked the taste but no licking or scratching. I will repeat the creaming again today and fingers crossed it will help. How do my arms...

Based on the comments and experiences I’m leaning more towards a grass allergy, she has spent quite a bit of time laying on the lawn charging her batteries in the sun. I’ve made the oat cream, I think I might have put too much oats into a pop sock as I made a right mess squeezing the gel out...

Bella has had a few issues in the past with her skin, usually solved with a dip in the sea. I’d forgotten about this, maybe the cold water helped. Thank you for these tips, this is just the kind of thing I am looking for. I’m sorry about Snowie but like to think in some strange way he’s sent a...

Thank you I have taken onboard all the suggestions and I will start with the wiping down as soon as she gets back from her walk. Will let you know if it helps.

No flea collar unless we go abroad which we haven’t done for a few years now. She has 3 monthly bravecto

After nearly becoming a tenant at the surgery after her sore paw episode I am trying to find something that might help before I have to resort to going to the vet.

No changes except the weather being hot and cold. I did think maybe be grass or pollen related but it’s a bit early.

I need your help. Bella is not herself, she is itchy. Lick lick scratch scratch, she’s driving me nuts and I’m sure she’s not happy with it either. Flea treatment up to date ✔️ Has salmon oil every day✔️ Has lamb and rice kibble avoiding chicken and grain✔ The only bath she has is a quick hose...

So sorry to read this, poor Nellie a little trooper but now free from pain. Sending a virtual hug. Extra hugs for Reuben too who I’m sure will miss his little friend.
