The doggy canapes worked!! Bit fiddly, but the pasta tube hid the tablet completely and she obviously couldn't smell the tablet through the pate either. But we'll keep trying other things too...
Poppy is getting to that stage in her life when she is becoming picky about her food. She recently decided she doesn't like the taste of salmon anymore, so she has new kibble now and no more salmon oil. Merlin doesn't care, he'll eat anything...
Our problem though is giving Poppy her...
I'm really happy you had such a good visit, and good news too that only (!) two more teeth need to be removed, and that the operation can be done locally. I understand about the costs as well :(
I've used Equafleece before, at dummy training and competitions, where it was cold and wet. I can confirm that while they are not waterproof, they do keep the dog toasty warm!

We were just away in the UK for two weeks, and my sister came and stayed in the house and looked after the dogs for us. It made such a difference, knowing that Poppy especially would be cared for and all...

They are so clever, aren't they? Someone walking yesterday saw Merlin picking, and asked whether it was safe or whether I worry that he might hurt himself. I said he seems to manage just fine... :happy:

Does anyone else's dog pick their own blackberries or other berries? Merlin is a great picker of fruit - he walks along snacking off all the low-hanging blackberries he can find. In season he also picks blueberries. But with there being so many blackberries at...
