That looks lovely! I do so love Tuscany... Lucca is amazing. But Firenze looks wonderful too - where are the crowds?? When we were there in May it was absolutely unbearable!!! Carbon looks very handsome and quite at home.

Lots of games and distractions helped Merlin - but ultimately it was time that helped the most. The first few nights he howled and cried, and had to sleep in my bed... It took over 6 months before he was back to his normal self, I think.

Oh that is so sad!!!

Update - Merlin had an xray today of his spine and hips, as well as a blood test and teeth cleaning. All good with the spine and the blood test was also good, but his hips are, as we knew, terrible. The vet said it's unbelievable that he can cope as well as he does, and she complimented us on...

Glad you have got an appointment! Poppy also had a lump removed off her eyelid under anaesthetic, it went very well. Fingers crossed for Reuben!
