A little update. I am absolutely thrilled and relieved to say Hattie is back to normal health, occasionally a little wobbly on her back legs when she gets up but this could be her arthritis too. She's going on 1 -2 hour daily walks, running and playing with Charlie, not even 4 weeks post...

Apparently, raw fed dogs may not suffer from ticks or fleas. Not sure about that, maybe our raw fed owners could pitch in? xx

Could be, but all animals get ticks so why should dogs be different? xx

My Sister's dog never gets ticks and he's white so easily spotted but she still treats him, I personally wouldn't. I truly despise ticks, just the thought of them crawling on my dogs makes me feel sick. I do find it odd that some dogs don't get them, I wonder why that is? Lucky Cassie...

Good grief here we go again. I removed a half engorged tick from Hattie's ear this afternoon. Really, it has been so cold here, how on earth are they surviving. Time to try out the natural spray I bought for Hattie due to the terrible reaction to spot on and the long recovery. Have some spot...

@Atemas If you get photographic evidence of her dogs pooing in your garden you can call Environmental Health who might go and talk to her about the fence. £2000 is so much money when it's not your fence. xx

@Atemas Maybe for your own sanity could you fix the fence and then it ends? I know it's not right but you know you're not going to get anywhere with this woman by the sounds of it. Is it worth all the stress that will inevitably build up? Having her dogs pooing in your garden is the deal...

How awful for you feeling so unsupported during what is already a very difficult time. The forum gang is here on hand. I'm sure you've thought of it but could Chewie's poo problems be treat related? What kind of treats/chews do you feed him as they sometimes have all kinds of things in them...
