Well it was ok. As usual he’s happy to go in. We chatted with the vet quite a bit about what’s been going on, but when we decided on the blood tests we put a muzzle on him and they took him into the back where they have more staff to handle him and keep everyone safe. Heard a few angry noises...

Vet was stumped. He did blood work, which all came back good, so could rule out liver, kidney, etc. Suggested it could possibly be something that is causing an intermittent blockage on and off, but they would have to do further examination to rule that out. So for now keep monitoring and if it...

He has drank quite a lot lately. Poos seem to be normal. No drooling. Just a mystery. I just feel like we’ll go through all the trauma of the vet visit to get nothing definitive back. But who knows?

I think if the emergency vet wasn’t worried I wouldn’t be too worried. But I haven’t had this with either of my pooches, so someone else with more experience may have more relevant advice.

I’ve never had a dog with this issue so don’t have any suggestions, sorry! She’s looking shiny and healthy, though! Hope you can get some suggestions on how to manage the uti issues, I’m sure it’s frustrating!
