Is Shamas still overweight? If so, you need to hang firm on reducing food intake. Maybe you can try a chew toy of some sort to keep him occupied? Or feed his kibble in a frozen Kong?

Try not to be discouraged. It is hard to train two dogs! I have only ever had one at a time so can’t give you any pointers, but plenty of people here have. So it can be done. Might be worth looking up some threads on the forum where this has been discussed. Kikopup might have some YouTube...
