    Teasel Update..

About time I updated this thread! Teasel continues to grow in confidence. She is now officially a teenager, but I love to see her with confidence enough to gently nudge boundaries, and test me just a little bit more. Her affection though is so endearing. I always expected her to develop into a...

Poppy seizures - medicating with Pexion

Oh Karen I feel so sad for you. I know the seizures are horrible, one of my cats years ago had a terrible time with them, and they are just so traumatic. I really hope it is just a blip, and you have plenty of quality time with her

    Trixie

Just switching from one side another - is likely not be giving Trixie enough space. Think about that, especially if Trixie is excited. If you are trying to train loose leash, and Trixie is throwing out other behaviours, such as grabbing the lead, you need to understand what is motivating the...

    Weather

Yes, cold weather keeps the Scent cloud small, as well as factoring in wind and position of the odour. Length of time the odour is in situ has an impact on Scentwork, as I found out last week, when we just managed to get the Christmas scent hides in place! The barn though, was minus 3!! :cold::cold:

    Trixie

Just a note: we don't recommend slip leads for training a loose lead walk They are fine for dogs who already understand where the walking position is, and get rewarded by being in this position, of course being mindful of the environment which will influence any dogs ability to walk calmly...

    Teasel Update..

Teasel Update It has now been... well I think I have lost count! Probably closer to 7 months now and the longest foster ever! She still looks like a puppy... maybe she always will! Teasel loves to retrieve, and loves her toys! She is always emptying the toybox, and bringing me ALL of them! I...

River and the Tennis Ball Game..

No... It is a bit of a sore point. There are so many dogs urgently needing help, young super dogs in real risk of pts. Teasel, because she is safe here, is on the back burner. It is not a great situation tbh..
