Stilton has been sick several times again today. He’s very perky still, and cannot understand why he’s not allowed any of his usual lick mat or beef chew so is also squeakily indignant. It might take several days to see an improvement, we’ll call the vets on Monday to discuss further.

Kipper helped me change the bed today, he’s very obliging at changing sides on the mattress so I can get the sheets off and on around him!

He had a good night - only one wake up and no sick, he just wanted to play and eat at 2 in the morning! Ah, young Labradors… He’s had his meds this morning and is bright eyed and bushy tailed, so fingers crossed for a settled day.

Spoke too soon! He’s just been sick again. But hopefully we can keep it to one bout, fingers crossed. He’s definitely feeling full of fun in himself 🥹

We’ve just got back from the vet who was great. She saw Stilton in the car park as he’s nervous going into the surgery since he had his ear infection (we’re working on it slowly). It’s a bout of pancreatitis and gastritis, probably triggered by too many fatty treats in one hit at training on...

I think he needs properly investigating now (plus help rehydrating). He’ll get some sweet potato when he’s feeling a bit better, it’s his favourite. Must try pumpkin too, that’s a good suggestion.

Our poor pups. We have a poorly Stilton, who’s been vomiting on and off for the last 3 days - mainly after drinking. He’s been on rice and egg for 2 days and was responding well until this afternoon, when he’s been sick another couple of times. I’m taking him to the vet tomorrow as dehydration...
