Nelly refused food again yesterday afternoon which is so worrying as she desperately needs to eat for strength to fight . I got some raw minced steak out of the freezer last night and this morning she has eaten four very small pieces thank goodness . I have cooked chicken, cold turkey and corned...

We are back to the food refusal again , Vet says most likely the barrage of antibiotics is the cause but we keep trying , six tiny bits of toast and honey just now and a chicken cooking in the oven xx

A good Vet report , Sue removed the drains today as there are holes for any seepage . Nelly temperature is still a little high but Sue is not unduly worried as Nelly has good pink gums and wet membranes , she did say that sometimes, after traumatic injuries, the body is working so hard to heal...
