I used to hide behind trees when the lad was a cocky teenager , he did used to make me laugh running to find me then pretending that he knew where I was all along xx

Sam adored his classes , he did well . Reuben on the other hand saw it all as an excuse to be a total lunatic :facepalm: I decided to train him myself using the information and support I had from the trainer, it has worked well , most of the time :mmm: Edited to say, some of the time :mmm:

Our forest trails are quite gritty , they act like an emery board so I havent had to trim the big lads nails, yet x

I am so glad that I decided to have Reuben , there is a little bit of Sam in him . I would have loved him without this but love him even more because of it xx

Four years ago , we said the most sad goodbye to our darling boy, he was just six years old . Caring for a dog with cancer is the hardest thing to do , but he did live the best of lives, loved to the moon and back . Loved and missed for ever my beloved boy xxxx

Reuben is currently growling with the odd bark thrown in for good measure . We are very rural but with the advent of new estates in the village , more families = fireworks x

What a good girl Poppy , this is grand to read . Nelly doesnt react , she can hear some high pitched sounds like my dog whistle but ignores the fireworks . Reuben doesnt seem scared , more cross ! He grumbles away , barking or growling . Good luck with Nina x
