Can’t have tacos, he can only have 20gnof carbs a day one taco would be all of his allowance 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s so restrictive when we have kids to feed that won’t eat what he can eat.

He’s just took him out again. Which is like his 3rd walk over the forest today. I’ve yet to actually walk him yet 🙄. I went to put my shoes on and he had gone 😳. Just a touch over protective still it would seem :wasntme::rofl:

At 8 weeks they should respond to attempts to play with them.

Oh and ideally do not take the puppy today! It’s really easy to do that especially if they are 8 weeks but even if they go for a drive first to discuss how they felt about the visit first before collecting as it’s hard to make a informed decision when you have a cute bundle of fluff on your lap!

He is currently dozing on the sofa with Mas next to him. Any suggestions of going to bed is met with ‘I’m fine’ in a twitchy kind of way. So I’ve sneakily put the heating and the fire on as he notoriously falls asleep when he’s warm 😈😂

Oh and check that eyes have been checked in both mum and dad as both breeds are prone to eye issues. And elbow scoring (should be 0/0)

You add then hip scores together for a total. Personally I think 4-7 is quite high as the total is 11 - I wouldn’t want any more than 10 personally but I know well bred dogs that have up to 14 (which I believe is the breed limit for labs) I would ask about how many litters mums had, have they...

Oh and we are also now emptying, cleaning and refilling his water bowl every time he drinks out of it. I’m not even sure what the logic of that is.

Erm. Not so much. He’s very very snappy at anyone who goes within 10 metres of him. Including the cat 🙄. Where is the dog is said about 10 times an hour, despite said dog being asleep on the floor. OH is not well, his bloods are through the roof as he’s not been eating right - which...

And now another one! 😳 The vet said two toilets in a short space of time was reason for a call but I assume she meant diarreah? Whilst the last one is sloppy it’s acceptable I think?
