Yesterday morning we woke up to snow. I had to teach all day so missed playing in it, but did manage a small run about with Harley before I left. Today it’s all gone and is sunny!!

I noticed a change in Harley within 3-4 days. She suddenly wanted her 2nd walk again each day and wasn’t limping at all.

Harley has turmeric on her meals every day. Between that and the Librella she is doing really well. The arthritis has got much bigger, but pain management is working.

So glad that you got an appointment earlier by going private. fingers crossed with the litter. Have you looked at Many Tears rescue as they seem to get a high numbers of puppies / young dogs?

I am going to email the photo to the vets and will go in if they want to see her. I try to limit how often we go in as she shuts down. @Jelinga I couldn’t see any sign of a scab, but it is possible. It’s strange that there seems to be a hole in the middle of it which is strange.

Anyone have any idea what this could be? I was smoothing Harley whilst she was snuggled up to me and found this on the top of her spine.

I echo what everyone has said about it not being your fault. I also agree that it would be good to put rules in place with any future visitors just as a precaution. I am glad that your friend realised he was at fault, and I hope he is ok too x
