Oddy should feel so much better, now the blockage has been removed. When are the owners due back and are you back with Oddy or is your son still there? It must be such a relief to have found the cause.

How reassuring it must be to share Oddy's care with his owner and the vet, excellent idea to have been on WhatsApp. So pleased to read that Oddy has improved overnight.

I didn't realise you were dog sitting for a month, what a responsibility when one of them becomes ill. Poor Oddy, he does sound so poorly, I hope he picks up and is much better tomorrow. :thelambiesarecoming:

Thank you for the gundog training post, very interesting. You are lucky to have water, we only have water once in the training season unfortunately, or it may be fortunate as Flicka is water mad! My last dog always put the dummy down as soon as he came out of water, so far Flicka holds on to...

What lucky and happy dogs there are. Flicka loves the pheasant toy they have, her favourite.

We had the most dreadful thunderstorm last night, loads of thunder, continual lightening and the heaviest rain I have ever known! Earlier in the evening about 10pm, I remembered that I hadn't watered, so went out in the dark and did it! There would have been no need!!!!

The pheasant toy is Flicka's favourite toy. How could he resist those appealing eyes!

They are very intuitive and have much empathy. They are indeed 'dear souls' and give so much comfort.

Joy looks so lovely in the bluebells. Is she able to see any light? Her ears show she is very alert and happy.
