Hello Meg. Mud is a good way to get their attention. When they try to clean your paws grab a toy and keep jumping away form them - it drives them nuts. When they catch you try rolling over. It sometimes gets a tummy tickle.

    Beaver Cottages, Tintagel

The access was secured (a strong password in the information folder) and fast enough for watching you tube. There was the occasion glitch of a few seconds, but this is rural Cornwall so I wasn't expecting fiber speeds. The phone signal on EE was not very good, which suited me perfectly as I...

    Beaver Cottages, Tintagel

It is a lovely area. Our next section of the coast path takes us a bit further south. In some ways we'll be sorry to leave the huge scenery and big cliffs of North Cornwall (although our tired legs might not wholly agree with that sentiment). For info, Nicola mentioned that they sometimes...

    Beaver Cottages, Tintagel

The garden has a 6 foot slatted fence in two sides, a high stone wall on the third, and the back of the house on the fourth. It's accessible from the back door and French window. The fence has a gate into the owner's garden, which is also dog proof.

    Beaver Cottages, Tintagel

Beaver Cottages is located at Tregatta, a small village just outside Tintagel. There are two cottages, The Lodge and The Smithy. We took the Smithy for a week and were very impressed with the size of the cottage and the decor. It's a nice size for two people and a dog with plenty of space to...

I'm home from conwoll. Mr humpychushion was pleased to see me so i pounced on him a few times and gave him a good shake. The pigeons have been on the roof, and their poop rolled into the garden - delicious. Ted and I have just exchanged waggy sniffs through the fence. All is well in my world.

I think the Hollyday is finishing tomorrow. Mum and dad are putting things in bags again. I've had a great time with lots of fabulous new walks, meeting Nelly, helping my peeple with pub and cafe meals, a run on the beach and lots of blackberries. Today we did a short walk (just four hours)...

Very true. We went on a bus yesterday to get to the walk and there were lots of nice things under the seats.

I like pubs. There are always nice bits of food under the tables and plenty of people to tell me that I'm beautiful.

My 'point and press' go everywhere camera is a Nikon Coolpix L110. It's a bridge camera. It has good optics, 15x zoom, good depth of colour, and takes nice video. The current version is called the Coolpix B500. I got the unfashionable red coloured version which was £20 cheaper than black!
