Ignore the scales. Our standard test is that the Lab should have a waist when viewed from above and the side, and that the ribs should not show. The ribs are visible in some of those pictures so he could do with a bit more weight.

Holly is five and a very sensible dog. She still runs off into the woods and ignores us when there's something disgusting to investigate. She also jumps when she gets excited. Don't get too worried about it. The perfectly behaved Lab has yet to be born.

Our estate is very unfriendly to hedgehogs. It was built with a lot of walls linking the houses so they have very few 'through routes'. A couple of years ago we started asking neighbours to leave gaps under their gates and holes in fences to give hedgehogs more routes through the estate...

I'd love to go swimmin with my hoomans. i bet i'm faster than them. Ive never seen them with a ball in their mouth so they cant be very good at swimmy fetch.
