3rd most badly behaved dogs..?

Therapy sounds like they are all cuckoo, that's a bit harsh.

I always thought labs were easier to train than other dogs and much more amenable, maybe it's because so many people are of the same impression and think they are in for an easy ride, not cut out for the hard stuff, crocopupping and such.

It's the owners - but not us of course!

I agree on the collies, too. Mainly because they are meant to be working dogs and hanging out in the average household must drive them to drink (if they could).

Actually looking at the list again they are all potentially working dogs or mixes with working dogs. Working dogs + average 'pet' household = high potential for canine craziness.

I for one am very grateful that I ended up with a dog who LOOKS like a working line Lab but most of the time ACTS like a couch potato. :D

I have no experience of collies but working cockers in the wrong hands can get into trouble very easily. Many people who decide to get one haven’t got a clue what they are taking on.
I was listening to a podcast this morning and the guest was an ex army, ex police dog handler, now running a scent school where they train up new instructors to teach tracking and other scent sports. He was asked about his favourite breeds. He has obviously worked a lot with GSDs but says he's a spaniel man at heart. Loves springers, but wouldn't have a cocker because they're far more intelligent than he is :D

Cockapoo’s are just NUTS so I’m not surprised they’re on there - people don’t understand what they’re getting themselves into with a cockapoo!

The two out of control breeds I see in Hampshire are Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. A couple of aggressive BC's as they are truly working dogs. CS are just crazy. Their owners have trackers on them which obviously really helps. x
