There are no crows in NYC??Just had a long skype chat - they are all fine, Alto apparently took the flight in his stride and was very chilled about everything. They have been for several walks, he spotted the first crow he has ever seen in his life, and is very happy and calm. Ari was very entertained that Alto has his own thread on My Labrador Friends!
Apparently not! Lots of pigeons, and jays, and seagulls... but no crows! There are no crows in NYC??
Weird!Apparently not! Lots of pigeons, and jays, and seagulls... but no crows!

Wow, that's my new fact for the day!Apparently not! Lots of pigeons, and jays, and seagulls... but no crows!
I guess this is due to breathing difficulties in brachy dogs, they can struggle even in normal conditions, poor little things xI was thinking about dogs on planes the other day when I read that two Australian airlines have now banned "snub-nosed" breeds of dog and cat from flying.
Yeah, there was a boxer and a bulldog, within a short period of time. There's been a big thing recently about a bulldog dying on a flight. I think it's a big risk for these dogs their breathing is so compromised
Apparently the Boxer was left on the tarmac for a long period of time, when it was 39degrees.

What is wrong with people.Um, I never saw a crow until I came to Europe.Apparently not! Lots of pigeons, and jays, and seagulls... but no crows!

That's been the recommendation for a long time that snub-nosed breeds shouldn't fly.I was thinking about dogs on planes the other day when I read that two Australian airlines have now banned "snub-nosed" breeds of dog and cat from flying.
Poor baby - pretty much my worst nightmare. That's why I kidnapped my foster dog Paul when he was supposed to go to Germany on a flight from Spain that left in the middle of the day. I asked how they handled the issue of heat on the tarmac and the person making the travel arrangements told me, "Better he dies in the plane than in the shelter." Um...no. So instead of a plane to Munich it was the TARDIS to Wiltshire.Apparently the Boxer was left on the tarmac for a long period of time, when it was 39degrees.
Thank Dog for the Tardis.Um, I never saw a crow until I came to Europe.
